happy trails

Well here's the latest story to come out of the newsroom- As of August 7th, I will no longer be a resident of Mesa Arizona...or the state of Arizona. Yes, it's true. I have decided to skidaddle up to Utah for the time being. Something I, before senior year, was sure I wasn't going to do. Yet here, presenting itself before me is a grand opportunity to fly the coop and see how life is on the other side...of the border. I'm very excited to experience living on my own, except that I will miss my friends and family terribly!

Beck'08

Well tonight was a fantastic evening. I had the pleasure of being accompanied by my good friend Gabby Walz to a live Glenn Beck 2 hour show which was broadcasted from Texas to various theatres around the country. Namely, theatre 1 at Mesa's Cinemark. It was just as I was expecting it to be...100% ridiculous. As in, one of the funniest and funnest 2 hours spent at the movie theatre I've ever indulged in.He also presented the audience with one of the finest and moving speeches on america/politics/issues I've ever heard.and then of course, there's us..legitimizing our nerdiness as we wait for the political fun to begin!

old + poster

My good neighbor was kind enough to give me this beautiful poster from 1963 that he said hung upon the wall of his teenage bedroom. It's so neat and huge. You can tell it's old. I love it!

stakeyouthconference

This past weekend I attended our stakes Youth Conference at the Embrey Riddle Areonautical Univirsity in Prescott Arizona. It was a very nice facility and besides everyone getting 1st degree burns on their face from being outside all day, the time spent there was fairly enjoyable. Variety Show
